Buchs, Switzerland, 24. April 2011: Development with the Precision Pano had taken a second priority in our daily business lives.  The hardware and software had been utilized several times, although improvements were not of most importance.

Almost 18 months has gone by, the Precision Pano has a new face lift and a new heart beat.  The housing has been renovated with the Precision Pano logo as well as a new heart beat in the form of high-end rechargeable batteries.

It is these new wave high-end rechargeable batteries that brought us to create this entry.  Previously, the Precision Pano power was produced by either Ni-Cad battery packs or AA Akline or AA rechargeable NiMH batteries- which had proven to be worthy numerous times over.  With some investigation and discussion over a new power source, the new Precision Pano power has been introduced and tested.  Till now, the best results came from the Ni-Cad packs which offered up to 170,000 exposures with movement between each exposure - actually more than the majority of all dSLR mechanical lifetimes on the market today.

The high-end power now in place in our Precision Pano is capable of up to 320,000 exposures with movement as before.  That means, the Precision Pano with the new power source is capable of taking one frame each minute for well over 31 weeks - with movement between each shot!

Adding the cherry to the top of the whipped cream... the new power source is lighter in weight than the previous power options. Just under 1 Kilogram or 2.2 pounds lighter than the previous configuration.  Now, you can charge the Precision Pano once and go on vacation in the mountains or shooting expedition with the Precision Pano, and not worry about the power while in the bush!

We are proud to have this new power souce in the Precision Pano.  Which, is currently involved in a shooting contract for a construction site of a modern house in Thurgau Switzerland.
